Designed in 1994, QR codes were first used by the automotive industry of Japan. These QR codes are playing an important role during Covid times, from scanning in restaurants to taking big steps in the health field; QR codes have been of important significance.

Printed reports of the tests can be manipulated easily and might be used for wrong reasons which are illegal and immoral. To ensure that activities like this do not get encouraged and RT-PCR reports can be validated easily and conveniently by anyone at any time, Cloud Pathology is now providing QR codes on every test report. When scanned, this QR code dictates the original RT-PCR report.

By default application of QR code, the printed report will come in handy at different points. In the case of foreign travel, even after submitting the printed test report, it is mandatory that the test report has a QR code that tracks the original test report.

Recently, DHA (Dubai Health Authority) issued new guidelines for the passengers travelling to Dubai, the test centers and hospitals are panicking over generating QR codes for linking the printed report to the original RT-PCR test reports.
