As we know how managing data is complex especially when it in large bits. Managing large data is a tedious task. Generally searching for data based on criteria is a time-consuming process. So, effective data management is very important especially when data is in large bits. Cloud pathology provides the different test states for different users based on their work in the lab operations. The test state filter can be applied to check particular stages of testing and which patient samples are at what state.

Data filtering is the process of choosing a smaller part of your data set and using that subset for viewing. Filtering is generally when the complete data set is kept, but only part of it is used for the calculation.

This filter option optimizes the data and gives the required data based on search criteria. This option enables the user with smooth operations, timesaving, increases productivity.

Cloud pathology comes with six different Test State filters, these are:

  1. Collection pending.
  2. Accession pending.
  3. Result pending.
  4. Partially completed.
  5. Completed/check pending.
  6. Checked.

Collection pending: Applying this filter gives the result of only those patients sample which is done with testing but not reached the laboratory yet.

Accession pending: It will display a list of only those patient’s samples whose sample is collected in the laboratory but not yet processed.

Result Pending: This will give the result of only those patient’s samples where testing of the sample is done but the result is in the hold.

Partially completed: Applying this filter gives the result of only those patients’ samples whose testing of the sample is done and the data at this stage has been received from the machine but is not complete yet. The tests at this stage are displayed in Purple Colour.

Completed: It gives the result of only those patient’s samples where tests and results are completed and the approval has been marked complete by the lab attendant. The tests at this stage are displayed in Blue color.

Checked: It will give the result of only those patient’s samples where tests, results, and reports are done. This is the final stage of sample testing where the report is also generated and the test can only be checked by signatories in the lab and no one else has the authority to mark a test as checked. The tests at this stage are displayed in Green color.

Above all are the different stages of processing the sample users can apply and process all these filters to get the desired result.

How to do it:
Test states option comes up with six different filter options, these are:
Step 1:
Click on the “Test States” button in the top column.

Step 2:
After clicking the “Test States” button, all filters will be displayed on the screen. Click one of the filters mentioned above then click apply to check the result data set.

Step 3:
After Applying these filters gives the result that is processed then will be displayed on the screen.

The above-explained process will help users with easy data management according to interest.
